Recently on LinkedIn I saw a post by Pascal BORNET showing a VR headset being used by a judge to experience a crime scene. Might be a sign of things to come...
Really interesting read. Meta’s long-term bet on immersive tech feels like a huge gamble, but also kind of inevitable given the direction things are going.
Do you think they’ll manage to shift public perception beyond just being “the Facebook company”?
I think they can, but depends on the competitors in the market. They already have a big lead with oculus in AR/VR so if smart glasses do become the next big thing, they will have some advantages

Amazing work!
I appreciate it!!
Oh wow 🤩
Thanks for the comment!
Interesting. Do you think AR glasses will go mainstream at some point?
As more companies start making them, I would think so
Let's hope so! When Apple started offering them as well, I was sure we were finally having a breakthrough. But then... crickets, mostly.

I still remember the time when I had MySpace 🫣
Hahaha, never had to use it, but from reading the comments I'm glad I didn't
Yep. It was crazy times.
I actually thought this would be more on the Meta Quest MR headsets.
Nope, everything about the company Meta. Can see how you thought that though with their name change
The highs and lows of Facebook 👍🏻 interesting to read 😊

Great write-up. I've been on Facebook since 2007 and watching its evolution has been interesting (in good and bad ways).
